Treasure Hunt Team Following God's Treasure Map... Those interested in Treasure Hunting get together periodically and spend about 5 minutes asking God to share His heart for the people that He wants us to speak to. We write down the things that come to our minds like names, appearances, prayer needs, or anything that might help us to identify a person. This becomes our 'Treasure Map'. We team up in groups of 3 to 5 people and when we find someone that fits our Treasure Map, we show them that God is highlighting them and offer to pray for them. We have seen amazing results and many blessings for both the people ministering and the people being ministered to. Ultimate Treasure Hunting The Focus of this small group will be to equip people to become expert treasure hunters, using the book "The Ultimate Treasure Hunt" by Kevin Dedmon. We will learn to carry and release the goodness of God to others. It will include 45-60 minutes of training, 75 minutes in the field and 15-30 minutes of testimony and praise and evaluation. Womens Bible Study/Prayer Group Every other Thursday of the month, our group gathers at 9:15 with fellowship and light refreshments, which are provided. Then, at about 9:30, we begin our study, ending in prayer, at about 11:30 AM. Please call Anna Walski at 916-1707 (cell)/ 454-5115 (home), or Anne Gruber, at 977-0729 to confirm the meeting is on the week you wish to attend. We occasionally participate in an outreach to the community. This always takes place during our normal meeting schedule. The next outreach is at NECM, in August, when we will be assisting in organizing school supplies and clothing for the back-to-school give-away. NECM is not open at that time, and workers enjoy free water and great fellowship. Even if you don't want to join our Bible study, you won't want to miss this event. We usually meet for breakfast beforehand. Call for location and time. We are currently studying The Names of Jesus by Ann Spangler. We meet at the "Kumon Math and Reading Center" located at 6812 Old 28th Street, behind Curves, and near Cascade Road. This facility is barrier free.
